JMA Architecture is experiencing dynamic growth and is looking for exceptional talent to be a part of our growing firm.  As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the design process that will result in meaningful, thoughtful and sustainable contributions to the communities in which we practice.  Experience with laboratory facilities and higher education projects is a plus.

Qualifications:

  1. Registered Architect:  Hold a valid architectural registration with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
  2. Design Proficiency:  Display robust design skills, including the ability to create compelling visual presentations.
  3. Project Management:  Show experience in scheduling and monitoring project team performance.
  4. Client Service:  Show excellent communication skills, adept at coordinating with client organizations, representatives, and consultants.  Ability in running meetings and delivering effective presentations.
  5. Materials and Systems:  Have substantial ability in developing and detailing common commercial building materials and systems.
  6. Project Production:  Accomplished at developing and adhering to project production schedules.
  7. Work Ethic:  Support a creative, purposeful work ethic.
  8. Problem-Solving:  Show strong problem-solving abilities within a collaborative team environment.
  9. Client Diversity:  Thrive on challenging assignments across a diverse range of clients.
  10. Software Proficiency:  Be proficient in using software tools such as Revit 2023/2024, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BlueBeam, Project Libre Scheduling, Visi-spec, Word, and Excel.
  11. Field Experience:  Have experience in reviewing construction progress in the field and providing accurate reports.
  12. Leadership:  Be willing to assume supervisory responsibilities as our firm continues to grow.
