Project Description
Peachtree Road United Methodist Church recognized the need to expand its campus to accommodate its booming youth and teen ministry. The 51,873-SF Student Center performs as a multifunctional “home” adjacent to PRUMC’s main campus. It balances a sense of community with a level of independence and belonging. A versatile gymnasium acts as a hub for contemporary worship and can be transformed to cater to banquets and films.
At the building’s core is an active lounge that permeates through the upper and lower levels, offering connectivity and an opportunity to divide the space in a unique manner. 3D structural walls frame the core. The spaces that surround them offer a variety of small and large breakout spaces.
