AIA Georgia Building Codes Update

Register now to join the AIA Georgia building codes advocacy team for an update on building code adoption and amendments in Georgia. There’s just one meeting left for both the IBC and IRC subcommittees so we’re providing an update before the business is concluded and reports are prepared. Here are a few of the topics we’ll discuss: treatment of existing buildings, proposed language for use of ungraded lumber as required by HB 132, the proposed change to stair geometry, the proposed change for habitable attics, and the proposed inclusion of vapor diffusion ports.

We’ll also provide an update on the amendments subcommittee meeting.  We have much to discuss and look forward to hearing what’s of concern to you.
