AIA Georgia Building Codes Update

Register now to join the AIA Georgia building codes advocacy team for an update on building code adoption and amendment in Georgia. There are active task groups working to review the 2024 International Building Code and the 2024 International Residential Code. The groups are also tacking “the lumber bill” HB 132 – how to deal with a mandate for the use of ungraded lumber.
We’ll provide an update on the upcoming IECC subcommittee meeting, an update on the State Fire Marshal’s progress on the adoption of/revisions to the Life Safety Code. We’ll close with an update on the International Code Council’s work on updating the model codes and the work AIA is doing to provide leadership.
