RIVL Foundation Sports Performance Lab

The RIVL Foundation Sports Performance Lab is a first-of-its-kind center uniting research, rehabilitation, and elite training for amputee and adaptive athletes. Conceived as a global hub, it connects prosthetic innovation, motion analysis, therapy, and performance in one integrated environment. A 100-meter motion-capture track, fabrication labs, and recovery spaces create a continuous feedback loop between testing and real-world application. Embedded within a forested site, the design embraces topography, daylight, and universal accessibility as core drivers. The Lab reframes disability through excellence, positioning adaptive athletes as innovators and advancing a new architectural model for inclusive, high-performance sport and human-centered design leadership globally.
