The story of Houser Walker Architecture began in 2005, with a specific focus on creating architecture for the civic realm. Their commitment to doing work that helps define and impact Georgia’s communities is demonstrated through the devoted involvement of founding partners Gregory Walker, AIA and Hank Houser, AIA. They approach every client with an empathetic understanding of the client’s aspirations in order to create authentic, civic places that enrich human experiences, empower their communities and connect people. This hands-on approach has not only been beneficial to their clients but also instrumental to the numerous young and aspiring architects they have mentored. Houser Walker Architecture has been a consistent supporter of AIA, Urban Land Institute (ULI) and many other community organizations and non-profits. Their community-centered approach to design, commitment to community relationship and customer centered approach is to be commended and recognized with the AIA Georgia 2021 Architecture Firm of the year Award
