Join Equity In Architecture on November 1st from 6-8pm for an in-person negotiation workshop led by acclaimed industry leader Nancy Alexander. Get the leadership and communication skills to effectively advocate for yourself in the workplace and beyond. Professionals and students at any stage of their career development are welcome.

Nancy Alexander, a long-time partner to architects and the building industry and co-author of the AIA Guides for Equitable Practice, is a leadership coach, Certified Master FacilitatorTM, and organizational development consultant. Nancy holds a BA (sociology) and MBA from Yale, an MA in women’s studies, an executive coaching certificate from Columbia University, and the diploma in systemic team coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching, U.K. She lectures on topics such as equity, strategy, and negotiation at the Yale School of Architecture, where she serves on the Dean’s Council and facilitated the school’s strategic plans, culture and climate survey, and five-year DEIBelonging plan. Nancy has also spoken at and consulted to numerous related organizations including ACSA, BIMForum/AGC, Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation, Architecture Lobby, Storefront for Art and Architecture, and Autodesk, as well as firms, AIA and NOMA components and chapters, and schools of architecture.
