Biophilic Design – Improving Health and Well Being in the Built Environment

Presented by AGC Glass

This course reviews and encourages design to intersect the innate human desire to connect with nature – for health and wellbeing.

Speaker: Renee Shipley

Renee N. Shipley lives in Nashville, TN where she is a Regional Specialty Glass Sales Manager for AGC Glass North America. Renee started in the industry just over a decade ago as a manufacturer’s rep working in materials like quartz, natural stone, tile, and glass. At AGC Glass, she works with National Accounts, Fabricators, Glaziers, and the best Architects and Designers around. Truly loving design and most of all the people who drive it, she puts her heart and soul into what she does with a splash of comedic relief when needed. She came from a one stop light town in Kentucky and went to University of Kentucky, being the first to graduate college in her family, has an MBA from Bethel University, and is currently working on becoming WELL AP certified. She is a proud member of ASID where she has served on the board for over 6 years.
